My Bauhaus is better than yours

  

   

J'adore ce sac! Je l'ai acheté à la semaine du design de Milan à un endroit où des étudiants en design du Bauhaus exposaient leurs créations. Et c'est eux qui ont créé ce magnifique sac que je ne cesse de porter!

I love this bag so much! Can't stop wearing it! Bought in Milan at the design week in a showroom of Bauhaus design students. 

La maison Moschino

J'ai visité la maison Moschino à Milan et l’hôtel est bel et bien à l’image de la marque de mode italienne : très féminin, un peu rigolo, à la limite d'être poupée. La déco des chambres fait drôlement penser à Alice aux pays des merveilles ! Une expérience hôtelière sans doute, mais à quel prix!

The Moschino house in Milan. Girly and funny, the hotel is really close to the italien fashion brand. Bedrooms make me think of Alice in wonderland. A paradise for fashonista who love the brand but who are ready to pay the price for the experience!

    

           

    

Les vélos (de Milan)

 Je ne pouvais m'empêcher de prendre des photos de vélos, il y en avait tellement! J'ai été agréablement suprise de voir autant de milanais, milanaises (habillés de façon impeccable) sur leurs vélos. Conclusion: en plus d'être un moyen de transport écolo aux avantages multiples, le vélo s'avère trendy! Merveilleux!

Some shots of bikes I took In Milan. Lots of them were so beautiful. And what to say about the person who were using them. They were perfectly dressed and of course so stylish with their lovely bikes. Conclusion: biking is green, useful and it's trendy. Am I dreaming? It's Marvelous!

Printed t-shirts

J'aime bien ces t-shirts imprimés. J'adore quand l'image en tant que telle est belle et qu'en plus le message véhiculé est bon. Le t-shirt '' Don't say nothing'' devient particulièrement intéressant.

Love those printed T-shirts so much. It's become more interesting when the print is beautiful but also when the message is good. I really love the one '' Don't say nothing''.

Uniqlo + Jil Sander

Comme tous les ans depuis quelques temps, Uniqlo, un géant japonais reconnu pour ses lignes de basiques, collabore avec Jil Sander, maintenant par Raf Simons. La collection appelée +J est disponible à Londres, Paris, New York et Tokyo. Je suis, donc, allée y jeter un coup d’oeil à Londres. Beaucoup de basiques bien sûr, aux lignes très épurées. Trench, robe-chemises etc. Également, quelques pièces oranges ici et là comme le veut la tendance de l’été.  Les prix sont plutôt abordables pour un morceau signé Jil Sander. Enivron 99£  pour un trench (autour de 155$CAN).

As every year, Uniqlo, a huge Japanese of usually basics, made a collaboration with Jil Sander (actually design by Raf Simons).  The collection named +J is available in London, Paris, New York and Tokyo. I went to see it in London: lots of basics as trench, white shirt etc.The cuts and the lines are really minimalism and pure. There are also some orange pieces, a huge trend of this summer. Price were affordable for something signed Jil Sander. Count 99£ for a trench.

London markets

Dimanche, Londres. La partie Est de la ville est un véritable marché en soi. C'est surtout autour de Brick Lane qu'on retrouve un mélange hétéroclite de vêtements, souliers, accessoires et articles non identifiés usagés ou pas. De quoi passer tout son dimanche après-midi à fouiller pour faire la parfaite trouvaille (ce que j’ai bien entendu fait)! Aussi, bien vous prévenir qu'il y a la foule! Les rues son complètement inondées de monde aux styles plus originaux les uns que les autres. Un peu plus loin, il y a un superbe marché aux fleurs.

Sunday, East London. Brick Lane is completely full of people, it is market day. Clothes, shoes and accessories second hand or not are every were. It is a paradise of vintage lovers. You can pass hours and hours searching for the perfect and unique item (what I did all the afternoon)! A little further their is a charming flower market. 

        

   

Maintenant de retour dans notre glacial Québec. Je m'ennuie déjà des journées ensoleillées! Vite que le printemps arrive!

Metronomy

Je suis allée au show de Metronomy à Londres samedi soir à la salle de spectacle Shepards Bush Empire. Le groupe a fait une super performance.

I went to Metronomy show saturday night in West London at the Shepards Bush Empire. The groupe was really good!
